Many trade promotion activities are organized.

Trade promotion activities are not simply about displaying, introducing, and promoting strong products, but are also expanded with many activities of connecting, meeting, and exchanging experiences between enterprises and partners and distributors. Each activity will bring its own advantages, but all aim to bring products further. In particular, displaying and participating in exhibitions and fairs help enterprises directly introduce products to consumers, potential partners, and distributors, contributing to expanding the domestic and international markets. Trade connection activities create opportunities for direct meetings between enterprises and distributors, agents, and retail systems, from which enterprises can learn from the experiences of other enterprises in the industry to improve product quality and brand.

In addition, through trade promotion seminars, businesses also have easier access to conditions for participating in supply chains, support policies from the State, functional sectors, new business trends as well as product promotion and communication activities.

Ms. Pham Thi Dieu Huyen, owner of Moc Truly Hue, shared that by participating in trade promotion activities, Moc Truly Hue has the opportunity to seek cooperation with many distributors. Not only connecting with distributors in the city, participating in promotion activities in localities such as Hanoi , Quang Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. also helps businesses have the opportunity to expand the market. Through product display and introduction activities, many products of Moc Truly Hue have been known to domestic and foreign consumers. However, what businesses appreciate most when participating in trade promotion activities is the opportunity to learn and understand product standards in order to have an orientation in improving quality, meeting the increasing demands of the market.

Also participating in many trade promotion activities, Ms. Ho Nhat Phuong, SBC Hoang Gia Company, said that SBC Hoang Gia products are present in many provinces and cities, and are brought to supermarkets such as GO! ... thanks to the support of departments and branches in trade promotion activities, especially the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support. In addition to supporting funding for participating in promotion programs, the Center also supports enterprises in displaying and introducing products, helping enterprises find partners. Or at the sessions connecting with distributors organized by the Center, enterprises also have the opportunity to meet directly with representatives from Co.opmart, GO!, Vinmart and some e-commerce platforms. This activity helps enterprises understand the product standards and processes to bring products into the system, and at the same time receive advice on improving packaging, tracing origin and completing legal documents. From there, enterprises have a clear direction in building and developing products.

Integrating multiple support programs

In the Hue City Trade Promotion Program in 2025, the Center for Investment, Trade and Enterprise Support is assigned by the City People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to organize and implement trade promotion activities according to the approved program. Accordingly, the 2025 trade promotion program will be organized by the Center with many contents from participating in domestic fairs and exhibitions; organizing participation in trade connection programs, conferences, and trade promotion seminars in provinces and cities across the country.

One of the activities that attracted the attention of businesses and was highly appreciated by the business community was the trade connection activity between Hue City businesses and distributors in Ho Chi Minh City, which took place for 3 days from May 23-25. This activity aims to promote trade, support businesses, cooperatives, production and business establishments in the area to expand the market for product consumption.

Talking about this activity, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao, Director of the Center shared that the trade promotion activities are evaluated quite carefully in terms of effectiveness as well as selecting suitable participating enterprises. Through this activity, Hue enterprises have the opportunity to meet and connect directly with distribution systems, retailers, supermarket chains, convenience stores and potential consumption partners in Ho Chi Minh City; promote and introduce typical products and strengths of Hue to consumers here. Thereby, contributing to enhancing brand recognition, expanding consumption channels, strengthening regional linkages, promoting the circulation of goods and forming sustainable supply chains between localities.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao, the Center also coordinates with units to promote trade in provinces and cities, connecting with distributors. However, to participate in these activities, businesses must ensure the origin of the products, meet technical standards according to regulations, prioritize OCOP products, products that meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP, Organic standards...
