In the 2024-2025 school year, Da Lat city has 77 schools and 2 educational institutions with over 60,000 students. The Da Lat Department of Education and Training said that schools in the area have maintained the Good Teaching - Good Learning Emulation Movement, innovated teaching methods in schools, and created positive changes in the quality of teaching and learning.
Most teachers in the area have organized many activities to shift from teaching that only provides knowledge to teaching that develops capacity, taking students as the center.

In the past school year, city students also promoted their ability to self-study, expand their knowledge, apply it to practice and experiments, increase physical education and sports activities in school, extracurricular activities associated with real life, form and develop their capacity according to subject requirements, meeting the innovation requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.
During the school year, the city also increased investment in facilities and equipment for schools.
During the ceremony, the People's Committee of Da Lat city honored and rewarded 525 outstanding students at all levels in the 2024-2025 school year; including 6 international excellent students, 51 national excellent students, 15 regional excellent students, 51 students with special achievements in the school year and 402 provincial excellent students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee Dang Quang Tu affirmed that education and training development has always been the top priority in the process of building and developing the city's economy and society. On behalf of the city's leaders, Mr. Dang Quang Tu congratulated the outstanding achievements of the students in the past school year; at the same time, acknowledged and praised the dedication and responsibility of the collective of cadres, teachers and employees in the whole sector for the achievements in discovering, nurturing and training excellent students.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Dang Quang Tu requested that the city's education and training sector in the coming time should continue to effectively implement the Emulation Movement of Good Teaching - Good Learning with the most specific and practical actions and deeds; continue to improve the quality of comprehensive education for students; in which, pay special attention to moral education, physical education, life skills, fostering patriotism, love for the homeland; national pride and aspiration to build a strong homeland and country; actively build a healthy educational environment; promote the work of encouraging learning and talent to encourage and motivate groups and individuals with many achievements in education and training.

At the same time, he also requested the industry to continue to focus on investing more in discovering, nurturing and training excellent students, organizing diverse forms of competitions for excellent students in various fields, and actively improving the qualifications of the teaching staff, especially the excellent teachers.
Schools must consider the work of discovering, nurturing and training excellent students as a regular task; teachers need to proactively supplement and accumulate new knowledge, actively innovate methods and ways of nurturing students.
The city's leaders will continue to create the most favorable conditions for the Da Lat education and training sector to successfully fulfill its responsibilities.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Van Bao Nhan - a 12th grade Math student at Thang Long High School for the Gifted in Da Lat, represented the students to express their feelings and gratitude to the teachers and local leaders for their attention to education and training, especially the work of nurturing excellent students, creating conditions for them to study, practice and achieve high academic achievements.
