Da Lat: Dismantling iron fences built by businesses without permission

On the afternoon of May 9, the fence along Ho Xuan Huong Street, Ward 12, Da Lat City had its steel mesh removed, but some iron stakes had not been removed by the investor of Than Tho Lake tourist area project.

The steel mesh has been removed but the iron stakes are still on the Ho Xuan Huong street corridor.

On the same morning, SGGP Newspaper reported that for many months now, Thuy Duong Company Limited (investor of Than Tho Lake Tourist Area, Da Lat City) has had people erect a fence tens of meters long and more than 1 meter high made of steel along Ho Xuan Huong Street, Ward 12.

The steel mesh has been removed.

The incident happened a long time ago and caused outrage among people living in the area.

Here, the garbage bins that had been there for a long time were pushed out onto the road after being fenced off, obstructing traffic.

Previously, the road corridor was arbitrarily surrounded by iron fences by businesses.

Previously, through checking people's feedback, at the end of March 2025, the People's Committee of Ward 12, Da Lat City worked with the investor of Than Tho Lake Tourist Area to determine that the fence was located on the road boundary of Ho Xuan Huong Street, and at the same time requested the company to remove all the violating fence according to regulations.
