Da Nang accelerates its progress with Web3 and AI.

On June 3rd, the Web3 Builders' Summit 2.0 (2nd Web3 Developer Community Conference), themed “The Rise of AI,” officially opened in Da Nang, bringing together over 200 experts, founders, and technology developers in the fields of Web3 and artificial intelligence (AI) from Vietnam and internationally.

At the conference, Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, affirmed that Blockchain and AI are two foundational technologies capable of creating breakthroughs in many fields such as finance, logistics, education , healthcare, and public administration.

This is not just a professional event, but also a milestone demonstrating Da Nang 's strategic determination to embrace technological trends, connect with the global community, and position itself as a pioneer in the Web3 – AI ecosystem in Vietnam.

“The future of a city lies not only in the speed of infrastructure development, but also in its ability to absorb new knowledge, leverage technology, and create innovative spaces for the younger generation. With an open, decisive, and proactive spirit, Da Nang is ready to become a hub of innovation, intelligence, and technological confidence in the region,” Mr. Le Son Phong stated.

During the discussion sessions, the conference focused on clarifying global trends in Web3 and AI integration, particularly the rise of AI agents – a new direction in the automation and personalization of Web3 systems. Speakers also shared in-depth insights on data governance, security issues, and strategies for developing Da Nang into an emerging technology hub in the region.

The highlight of the conference was the participation of international experts such as Christie Lee, Director of Partnerships at Aptos APAC; Sasha Mai, Founder of RISE Chain; Johnson Lai, Director of AI & Data at Chromia; Bui Trung Hieu, Community Leader at Solana Superteam Vietnam; and representatives from regulatory agencies, who exchanged ideas to better identify opportunities, challenges, and strategic directions in the context of the ongoing digital transformation.

In addition, the program creates a space for tech startups to showcase their innovative solutions to investors, the community, and strategic partners, thereby opening up opportunities for genuine collaboration and networking.
