Da Nang successfully auctions 3 large plots of land to build schools and hospitals
Two plots of land for the construction of a hospital and one plot of land for the construction of a school were successfully auctioned by Da Nang city, with prices many times higher than the starting price.
Da Nang City Land Fund Development Center said it has just successfully auctioned many large plots of land to build schools and hospitals.
Accordingly, Family Doctor Medical Joint Stock Company (Da Nang) won the auction for the right to use a 6,336m2 land lot at 522 B Nguyen Luong Bang (Lien Chieu District) to build a general hospital.
The starting price for the auction of the right to lease this land for a period of 50 years was 191,015 VND/m2/year, a total of 1.21 billion VND/year, but Family Doctor Medical Joint Stock Company won the auction with a price of 1.996 million VND/m2/year, a total of more than 12.6 billion VND/year, 10.45 times higher than the starting price.

In addition, Thien Nhan Da Nang Hospital Joint Stock Company also won the auction for a 9,525m2 land plot in Nai Hien Dong ward (Son Tra district) to build a general hospital at a price of 1,762 million VND/m2/year, a total of more than 16,789 billion VND/year, 6.5 times higher than the starting price.
Meanwhile, Van Phuc Kindergarten Investment Joint Stock Company ( Ho Chi Minh City) won the auction for a 2,277m2 land plot in Hoa Xuan ward (Cam Le district) to build a kindergarten at a price of 397,528 VND/m2/year, totaling more than 905 million VND/year, 2.15 times higher than the starting price.
It is known that Da Nang city currently has 341 large public land plots. In 2024, the city approved an auction list of 33 large land plots and 189 subdivided residential land plots.
Da Nang City has approved the Auction Plan and decided to auction the right to use 16 areas. Of which, 9 land areas will be auctioned in the form of annual land rent payment; 7 land areas will be auctioned in the form of one-time land rent payment for the entire lease term.
