The city of Da Nang successfully auctioned off two plots of land for hospital construction and one plot for school construction, at prices many times higher than the starting bids.

The Da Nang City Land Development Center announced that it has successfully auctioned off several large plots of land for the construction of schools and hospitals.

Accordingly, Family Doctor Medical Joint Stock Company (Da Nang) won the auction for the right to use a 6,336m² plot of land at 522B Nguyen Luong Bang Street (Lien Chieu District) to build a general hospital.

The starting bid for the right to lease this land plot for 50 years was 191,015 VND/m2/year, totaling 1.21 billion VND/year, but Family Doctor Medical Joint Stock Company won the bid with a price of 1.996 million VND/m2/year, totaling over 12.6 billion VND/year, which is 10.45 times higher than the starting price.

Da Nang city continues to successfully auction off large land plots.

In addition, Thien Nhan Hospital Joint Stock Company in Da Nang also won the auction for a 9,525m2 plot of land in Nai Hien Dong ward (Son Tra district) to build a general hospital at a price of 1.762 million VND/m2/year, totaling over 16.789 billion VND/year, which is 6.5 times higher than the starting price.

Meanwhile, Van Phuc Kindergarten Investment Joint Stock Company ( Ho Chi Minh City) won the auction for a 2,277m2 plot of land in Hoa Xuan ward (Cam Le district) to build a kindergarten at a price of 397,528 VND/m2/year, totaling over 905 million VND/year, 2.15 times higher than the starting price.

It is known that Da Nang city currently has 341 large public land plots. In 2024, the city approved a list of 33 large land plots and 189 subdivided residential land plots for auction.

Da Nang City has approved the auction plan and decided to auction the land use rights for 16 areas. Of these, 9 areas will be auctioned on an annual land lease payment basis; and 7 areas will be auctioned on a one-time land lease payment basis for the entire lease period.
