On the afternoon of July 25, the Phu Quy Special Zone Party Committee ( Lam Dong Province) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This is also the first special zone in the country to hold a Party Congress.

In the 2020-2025 term, Phu Quy special zone basically achieved and exceeded targets in all areas; in which, annually, budget revenue exceeded about 120% and attracted more than 462,000 tourists, tourism service revenue exceeded 210 billion VND. Annually, the local budget revenue was more than 48 billion VND, exceeding the target assigned by the province and budget expenditure reached 124% of the estimate. Total investment capital from the state budget was more than 344 billion VND; non-budget capital was about 632 billion VND, mainly in the fields of developing high-speed trains, restaurants, hotels, and rural transportation.

Phu Quy Special Zone focuses on developing a green marine economy .

In the 2025-2030 term, Phu Quy will focus on developing two economic pillars: promoting the development of the marine economy in a "green", strong and sustainable direction; strengthening solutions to protect aquatic resources , and preserving and restoring marine ecosystems.

In addition, the special zone continues to effectively implement the Phu Quy Tourism Development Project; mobilize and coordinate to host events and sports competitions at national and provincial levels to attract tourists.
