Truong Sa Special Zone receives more than 200 fishing boats, with more than 2,000 fishermen taking shelter from the storm

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 15 moving rapidly in the East Sea, officers and soldiers on islands in the Truong Sa special zone have urgently deployed measures to prevent and combat the storm and help fishermen take shelter safely on the islands of Truong Sa, Da Tay, Song Tu Tay, Son Ca, Nam Yet, and Sinh Ton.

By 4 p.m. on November 26, Truong Sa special zone had received more than 200 fishing boats with more than 2,000 fishermen to take shelter from the storm. Forces on the island mobilized more than 400 officers and soldiers to support people in reinforcing houses and tying boats; the islands supported more than 10,000 liters of fresh water, necessities, medicine and arranged temporary accommodation for fishermen.
