Highlights of the Hanoi UNESCO Music and Dance Festival

Practically celebrating the major holidays and successes of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the 18th Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee Congress for the 2025-2030 term, on November 11, the Hanoi UNESCO Association under the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations organized the 2025 Music and Dance Festival with the participation of 24 units, gathering over 100 actors and musicians.

Attending the program were Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations Tran Thi Phuong; former Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , President of the Hanoi UNESCO Association Truong Minh Tien, and representatives of agencies and units of the city.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, President of the Hanoi UNESCO Association Truong Minh Tien said that this is a traditional activity maintained by the staff and members for many years - a meaningful annual activity that has become a beautiful feature in the spiritual life of members and the art-loving community of the Hanoi UNESCO Association.

This is also an opportunity for members to meet, exchange, and immerse themselves in sweet melodies, graceful dances, and songs filled with love for their homeland and country. In particular, the performances are mostly performed by non-professional artists but are full of enthusiasm, passion, and voluntary dedication, bringing positive energy and a spirit of solidarity and unity to the big UNESCO Hanoi family.

"The festival is not only a stage of joy and emotion, but also an opportunity to honor the efforts of the centers, clubs and art troupes of the Association - the core elements contributing to building grassroots cultural life, spreading the artistic values of the Capital and the humanitarian spirit of UNESCO. The event helps to arouse pride in the cultural tradition of Thang Long - Hanoi, in the beautiful country of Vietnam, and at the same time, becomes a bridge to strengthen friendship between Hanoi and international friends, towards peace , creativity and sustainable development", Mr. Truong Minh Tien emphasized.
