On the morning of October 7th, Ms. Do Thi Lan, Vice Chair of the National Assembly's Social Affairs Committee and National Assembly representative for Quang Ninh province, met with voters in Dong Trieu town ahead of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly. Also present at the meeting were representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and various provincial departments and agencies.

During the meeting, Representative Do Thi Lan informed the voters about the planned agenda for the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly and related issues; and the results of addressing and responding to voters' petitions submitted to the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, it is expected that 11 draft laws will be considered and passed, initial opinions will be given on 12 draft laws, and socio- economic issues and a number of other important matters will be considered and decided upon.
After being briefed on the agenda of the session, delegate Do Thi Lan spent time listening to voters in Dong Trieu town express their opinions and aspirations on several issues, such as the need to invest in the restoration and preservation of the Yen Duc historical and scenic site complex in Yen Duc commune, which is currently in a state of disrepair, to ensure it is worthy of its value; the need to decentralize the approval process for investment, restoration, and preservation of national and special national historical relics; and reviewing tax policies on input materials in agricultural production to reduce costs…
Representative Do Thi Lan directly addressed the opinions and suggestions of voters within her jurisdiction, and promised to forward the opinions of voters in Dong Trieu town to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, scheduled to open on October 21st.
