(sonla.gov.vn) On July 26, the 1st Congress of the Van Ho Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, took place and was a great success. Attending the Congress were Major General Dang Trong Cuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, and 200 official delegates representing more than 1,300 party members in the entire Party Committee.

The first Congress of the Party Committee of Van Ho commune took place in a special context: This is the first term after the commune was established on the basis of merging the communes of Van Ho, Long Luong, Chieng Yen and Muong Men. During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of the former communes of Van Ho, Long Luong, Chieng Yen, Muong Men, now Van Ho commune, always strived, promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, comprehensive leadership, achieved many important achievements in all fields, the economic structure continued to shift positively; mobilized resources, promoted local advantages to develop the socio-economy associated with tourism development; socio-economic infrastructure received investment attention. Effectively organized the implementation of social security policies; Do a good job of health care, raise the people's intellectual level and improve the material and spiritual life of the people. The work of building the Party and the political system continues to be strengthened. The political security situation and social order and safety are maintained.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Van Ho commune focuses on building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting administrative reform and digital transformation to build a democratic, professional administration serving the people; effectively exploiting potentials and advantages, mobilizing resources for strong and comprehensive socio -economic development, gradually improving the quality of people's material and spiritual life; maintaining political stability, ensuring national defense and security. Striving for the average growth rate of total state budget revenue in the commune to increase by about 10%/year; total number of tourists to reach 1.5 million, total revenue from tourism activities to reach 380 billion VND. The poverty rate of the whole commune in the 2026 - 2030 period will decrease by an average of 1.5% - 2%/year. Strive to have no more poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard by 2030, period 2021 - 2025. 100% of records and results of administrative procedure settlement under the authority of settlement are digitized. Every year, 90% or more of grassroots party organizations and 90% or more of party members are evaluated and classified as "fulfilling their tasks well". Strive to have Van Ho commune become a commune with fast, comprehensive and sustainable development by 2030.

The Party Committee of the commune has proposed 5 breakthroughs, including: Innovating and improving the quality of cadres; perfecting the socio-economic infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction; developing high-tech agriculture, organic agriculture associated with processing and export; focusing on human resource development; effectively implementing the Master Plan of Moc Chau National Tourist Area; Effective administrative reform associated with promoting digital transformation and effectively implementing the two-level local government model.

Offering congratulatory flowers and giving a speech to direct the Congress, the Director of the Provincial Police acknowledged and praised the results that the Party Committee of Van Ho district before and now Van Ho commune has achieved in the past term. He emphasized: After the merger, the new Van Ho commune has many advantages and potentials for socio-economic development, especially agricultural and tourism development.
