"Paperless" Party Congress in Ca Mau

(Dan Tri) - According to the leader of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress was held without paper, demonstrating modernity in the period of promoting digital transformation.

On October 10, at the press conference on the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission (PMO) of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee announced the theme and important contents of the congress.

The theme of the congress was determined as: "Promoting the heroic revolutionary tradition and solidarity; building a clean and strong Party and political system; making breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; taking advantage of opportunities, advantages and potentials of the southernmost province of the Fatherland for comprehensive development, confidently entering a new era with the whole country".

The congress will be attended by 450 delegates with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Breakthrough - Development".

Mr. Nguyen Nam Phong, Deputy Head of the Party Committee's Organizing Committee and Services of Ca Mau Province, said that the congress will focus on summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and setting out directions, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. Delegates will also discuss and contribute ideas to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In addition, the congress will announce decisions appointing the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Secretary, Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, the Inspection Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and delegates to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Mr. Phong affirmed: "Up to now, the basic preparations are closely following the set plan; the work on documents, personnel, logistics, celebrations, etc. have all been completed, ready for the congress to take place on schedule and as required."

A notable point is that the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee advocates organizing a "paperless" congress. Mr. Ho Trung Viet, Head of the Organizing and Service Department of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, said that all information and documents of the congress will be integrated on a digitized database.

"This congress demonstrates modernity in a period when we are promoting digital transformation," Mr. Viet emphasized.

The leader of the Party Committee of Ca Mau Province affirmed that the congress is an important political event, not only summarizing the implementation of the previous term's resolution but also determining the direction and tasks for the new term, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership.

The Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress will take place from October 16 to 17 at the provincial convention center.
