Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress without performing arts, no congratulatory flowers

On September 25, Mr. Truong An Ninh - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee - said that the province is completing preparations for the Provincial Party Congress, which will take place on October 4 and 5 in the spirit of the most effective savings.

Specifically, the province has agreed not to organize a welcoming performance or a congratulatory performance when the congress ends.

In addition, the Provincial Party Congress also decided not to accept congratulatory flowers from localities and units.

"We will only arrange a maximum of 3 flower baskets in the hall and decorative flowers on the podium. There will be no situation where flowers are arranged in rows, which is very wasteful," Mr. Ninh affirmed.

According to Mr. Ninh, the upcoming Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term will increase the number of personnel in the Provincial Party Executive Committee by 2, from 60 to 62.

"The two new people to be added are the Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy and the Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command," Mr. Ninh added.

Previously, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee also directed to limit the giving of flowers at Party congresses at the commune and ward levels. The number of flowers in commune and ward congresses is regulated to not exceed 5 baskets.
