Gia Loc district martyrs' monument was expanded by more than 1,900 m2

Gia Loc District Martyrs Monument will be invested, renovated and expanded.

Gia Loc District People's Committee decided to renovate, upgrade and expand the district's Martyrs Monument by 1,907 ^m2 , bringing the total area to nearly 5,400 ^m2 . The project will start construction next July, with a total investment of over 28 billion VND, from the district budget and other legal sources of capital.

When upgrading, all the tiled parts, floor tiles, railings, surrounding steps, stairs to the flagpole will be demolished, old paint will be scraped off... The gate, surrounding fence outside, flower beds, yard... will also be demolished to make way for new ones, trees and flowers will be replanted after the project is completed.

Because it was built a long time ago, some items have now degraded.

After completion and put into use, the project will create a beautiful and aesthetic landscape for the central area, while also expressing the gratitude of the Party Committee and people of Gia Loc district to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
