At the meeting, representatives of the 12th Corps reported to the Minister on the groundbreaking of the projects, including topographic surveys, construction planning, mobilization of forces, vehicles, equipment and coordination with functional agencies and local authorities to ensure conditions for the groundbreaking on schedule as directed by the Ministry of National Defense.

General Phan Van Giang highly appreciated the proactive and responsible spirit of the officers, soldiers and workers of the 12th Corps in particular and the Project Management Board 166 (Ministry of National Defense) in the process of preparing for the project implementation. He emphasized that these are projects of strategic significance in terms of national defense, security and socio -economic development in the southernmost region of the country. Minister Phan Van Giang requested the unit to continue to do a good job of preparation, ensuring strictness, synchronization, safety and compliance with the law; ready to start construction as soon as the order to start is given.

Recalling that Corps 12 was assigned the Phong Chau Bridge project and many other projects... with great work pressure, projects in Ca Mau will encounter difficulties in terrain conditions..., Minister Phan Van Giang hopes that Ca Mau province will actively support the construction unit. Regarding Corps 12, the Minister of National Defense requested the unit to overcome difficulties, ensure safety and progress as set.
