Dak Lak arrests seven subjects carrying homemade guns into the forest for hunting

On May 4, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Dak Lak Provincial Police, said that the unit had just coordinated with the Cu Klong Commune Police, Krong Nang District, to discover and arrest seven subjects who were carrying homemade guns and a large amount of ammunition into the forest for hunting.

Previously, through reconnaissance and monitoring of the area, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Dak Lak Provincial Police discovered two groups of subjects showing signs of regularly using weapons for hunting in the forest area of ​​Cu Klong commune.

After a period of monitoring, on May 1, the unit deployed two working groups to conduct an ambush and arrest seven subjects along with four guns and 560 bullets of various types, as they were preparing to go deep into the forest to hunt.

At the police station, the suspects initially confessed to having ordered gun parts online and then assembled them themselves. Each gun costs between six and eight million VND.

The seven arrested subjects include: Hoang Van Thuong born in 1980, Le Van Dai born in 1998, Ngo Van Hoat born in 2000, Hoang Van Su born in 1993, Trieu Van Anh born in 1993, Nguyen Ngoc Khanh born in 1994 and Ma Minh Huan born in 1993, all residing in Krong Nang district.

Working with the police, the subjects initially confessed to ordering gun parts on the Internet and then assembling them themselves. Each gun costs between six and eight million VND.

Currently, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Dak Lak Provincial Police is conducting an appraisal of the four seized guns to complete the file and transfer it to the Security Investigation Agency to handle the above seven subjects according to the provisions of law.

Through this incident, Dak Lak Provincial Police warned and advised all people to raise awareness of law enforcement related to the management and use of weapons, explosives and supporting tools. Any act related to the manufacture, sale, storage, transportation, or use of these types of guns and ammunition without permission is a serious violation of the law and will be criminally prosecuted according to regulations.
