The 2nd Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024 will take place from August 31 to September 2 with 12 main activities including: Competition for excellent durian farmers; Fair to introduce OCOP products and potential local agriculture ; Cultural and culinary festival of ethnic groups in expanded Krong Pac district.

In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to experience enjoying durian in the garden and visit ancient durian trees; opening ceremony; workshop on building and developing a sustainable durian ecosystem; flag-raising ceremony, Ao Dai and ethnic costumes performance; closing ceremony; expected fireworks display...

Ms. Ngo Thi Minh Trinh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Pac district ( Dak Lak ) said that this festival is assessed to be larger in scale and have many new and unique activities than the first one held in 2022.

"This is an opportunity for tourists to better understand the culture of the Central Highlands ethnic groups through hands-on activities during the festival," said Ms. Trinh.

The first Krong Pak Durian Festival held in 2022 was considered a great success. The festival attracted more than 40,000 tourists from all over the country.
