Dak Lak will inspect the degradation of more than 7,000 hectares of natural forest in M'Drak

On June 28, in M'Drak district ( Dak Lak ), the Inspectorate of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province announced the Inspection Decision related to the degradation of more than 7,000 hectares of natural forest.

M'Drak District Forest Protection Department (Dak Lak) holds evidence in the case of 7,334.06 hectares of natural forest being reduced.

Previously, the People's Committee of M'Drak district reported that 7,334.06 hectares of natural forest in the area had been degraded.

Faced with the above situation, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has requested competent authorities to clarify the responsibilities of individuals and organizations involved in allowing more than 7,000 hectares of natural forest in M'Drak district to decline.

Mr. Pham Quang Vinh, Chief Inspector of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province spoke at the meeting.

The inspection aims to clarify the violations and assign responsibility to relevant organizations and individuals; propose strict handling measures according to the provisions of law under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. The results of the case will be reported to the Provincial People's Committee before July 15, 2024.
