Dak Lak: Handling teacher who strangled school Youth Union Secretary

On October 8, a leader of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province said that they were handling the case of a teacher at Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Ea O commune, Dak Lak province) who strangled a colleague.

According to Mr. NTS, Secretary of the Youth Union of Vo Nguyen Giap High School, on the morning of October 3, he was on duty to check student discipline as assigned by the school's board of directors. At this time, he saw Mr. D.T. parked his motorbike in the wrong place, so he asked this person to move the motorbike to the designated area.

However, Mr. D.T. used threatening words and used his hands to squeeze Mr. S.'s neck twice, causing scratches on his neck. The entire incident was witnessed by security guards, students, and recorded by the school's security cameras.

Speaking to reporters, a leader of Vo Nguyen Giap High School said that Mr. D.T. had an unusual personality, repeatedly insulting and beating students and challenging their parents.

Previously, Mr. D.T. worked at Tran Nhan Tong High School (Ea Kar commune, Dak Lak province) and was disciplined by the school 3 times (2 warnings and 1 reprimand).

When he transferred to Vo Nguyen Giap High School, Mr. D.T. often beat and scolded students and was disciplined by the school twice, with a reprimand and a warning.

The school reported the incident to the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province and Ea O commune police to handle the case.
