Agribank Insurance Party Committee successfully organized the 4th Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term

Comrade Pham Duc Tuan, member of the Party Standing Committee, member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Agribank Trade Union presented a congratulatory flower basket to the Congress.

In his opening speech at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, emphasized: “In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance has clearly demonstrated its role as the political nucleus, comprehensive and effective leadership in all aspects of operations. The completion and surpassing of many targets set by the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress not only demonstrates the internal strength of all cadres and party members, but also affirms the prestige, mettle and responsibility of a strong Party Committee.”

From the beginning of the term, the Party building work has always been identified by the Agribank Insurance Party Committee as a key task. In 5 years, the Party Committee has admitted 68 new Party members, reaching 100% of the set target, contributing to strengthening the political force in the enterprise. The work of classifying grassroots Party organizations and Party members has been carried out seriously, objectively and transparently. The rate of Party cells completing their tasks well or better has always been from 80% to 100%, with 100% and 95.5% in 2023 and 2024 respectively. On an individual basis, the rate of Party members completing their tasks well each year has always remained above 90%, notably 97.3% in 2022 and 93.5% in 2024.

Emphasizing the leadership role of the Party organization in the development of the enterprise, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai affirmed: “A strong Party organization is the foundation for a sustainable development of an enterprise. The success of Agribank Insurance in recent years is a direct result of the close, innovative and drastic leadership of the Party organizations at all levels. Each cadre and Party member is the bridge between the Party's ideology and concrete actions, the one who spreads the spirit of "responsibility and sharing" to each customer and each citizen."

Comrade Le Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance reported on the implementation results of the Resolution of the 3rd Agribank Insurance Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

At the Congress, comrade Le Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, full-time member of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance reported on the implementation results of the Resolution of the 3rd Agribank Insurance Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 and the direction and tasks for the term 2025 - 2030. The report stated that by 2024, Agribank Insurance had established 21 branches as the target set out in the Resolution; restructured the organizational structure in accordance with legal and market requirements, aiming to upgrade the operating model to a Corporation.

In terms of finance, all targets were achieved and exceeded the plan: charter capital reached 724 billion VND; insurance business revenue in 2024 reached 2,432 billion VND, ensuring an average growth rate of over 8%/year compared to the first year of the term; pre-tax profit reached 256 billion VND; after-tax profit margin on equity (ROE) reached 13.3%; minimum dividend reached 14%/year. Agribank Insurance also focuses on ensuring stable and reasonable income for employees, associated with efficiency, quality and labor productivity.

From 2020 to present, the Agribank Insurance Party Committee has been continuously recognized by the Standing Committee of the Agribank Party Committee for completing its tasks well; in 2023 alone, it was classified as completing its tasks excellently. Mass organizations such as the Trade Union and the Youth Union have always completed their assigned tasks well and excellently, actively contributing to the emulation movement and building corporate culture.

Entering the new term, the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance determined to continue to innovate leadership methods, improve the capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, and constantly promote the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members in all fields. The focus is to continue to review and arrange the organizational structure in a streamlined and professional manner; arrange staff and business locations reasonably, ensuring effective after-sales service; focus on training and fostering a team of staff with professional qualifications and political qualities; perfect professional processes; strengthen inspection, supervision, risk management and improve operational efficiency.

At the same time, the Party Committee will direct the acceleration of digital transformation in all activities of exploitation, compensation and risk control; promote research and development of new insurance products suitable for the Bancassurance channel; continue to ensure stable life and income for employees. Specific goals set for the new term include: 100% of affiliated party organizations will complete their tasks annually, of which at least 80% will complete their tasks well; 80% or more of party members will complete their tasks well; admit at least 25 party members each year; at the same time, achieve a minimum insurance revenue growth rate of 10%/year, pre-tax profit increase by an average of 4%/year, minimum dividend of 10%/share/year and total assets growth of at least 5%/year.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Pham Duc Tuan - Member of the Party Standing Committee, Member of the Board of Members, Chairman of Agribank Trade Union acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that Agribank Insurance has achieved in the past time, and sent his best wishes to the Congress.

He emphasized that under the leadership of the Party Committee, Agribank Insurance has overcome many difficulties and challenges such as natural disasters, storms and floods - especially the severe damage caused by Typhoon Yagi to stabilize business operations and continuously increase charter capital. In addition, the unit always receives strong support from the Agribank Board of Directors, creating an important driving force for development.

Over the past time, Agribank Insurance has also seriously and effectively implemented the requirements set forth by the Inspection Committee, thereby maintaining its position as a unit that has successfully and excellently completed its assigned tasks.

Comrade Pham Duc Tuan suggested that Agribank Insurance should continue to strengthen the leadership role of the Party, promote the fighting strength of the Party organization in the enterprise; proactively identify advantages and disadvantages, and at the same time prepare response plans to objective risks such as storms, floods, wars, etc. to build a development strategy in line with Agribank's general orientation - towards the people, agriculture and rural areas.

In addition, he also requested the Congress to wisely select and elect a Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term that is dedicated, visionary, and prestigious; and to promptly put the Congress Resolution into practice, concretizing it into practical actions. Finally, he emphasized the need for Agribank Insurance to promote digital transformation, applying modern technology in product development, in order to serve the bank and the people more effectively - quickly, accurately, and promptly.

The Congress also listened to the Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the ABIC Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; listened to the presentations of delegates attending the Congress to finalize the Congress documents.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term with 06 members. The Congress also elected 02 delegates to attend the Congress of Delegates at higher levels. The Congress also unanimously approved the Congress Resolution.

At the first meeting, the Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term elected comrade Nguyen Tien Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance for the 2025 - 2030 term; elected comrade Le Hong Quan, full-time member of the Board of Directors, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Agribank for the 2025 - 2030 term; elected 03 comrades to the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance for the 2025 - 2030 term. Elected comrade Le Hong Quan to hold the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance.
