The Brigade Party Committee seriously leads and directs the dissemination and study of resolutions, directives and tasks of all levels; effectively implements the breakthrough "Forecasting, grasping, managing and resolving soldiers' ideology"; proactively deploys many measures in grasping, managing and resolving soldiers' ideology.

The brigade promoted the vanguard role of mass organizations and military councils, successfully carried out the unit's tasks; strictly followed the grassroots democracy regulations; grasped and promptly resolved soldiers' problems, and prevented illegal petitions from occurring.

Leaders and commanders at all levels proactively grasp the situation of agencies, units, and military locations; protect internal politics well, do not reveal or leak military secrets, and ensure security and safety in agencies and units.

680th Brigade practices logistics training.

The Party Committee and the Brigade Command have implemented many drastic and effective solutions to improve the quality of building a comprehensively strong unit, "Model, typical", "3 typical units". Strengthening the building of regular order, tightening discipline, ensuring safety; raising the awareness of self-cultivation and training of soldiers; strictly complying with the laws of the State and military discipline.

Military administrative reform and application of information technology were promoted; electronic document management and digital signatures were deployed, contributing to improving the effectiveness of command and operation at all levels. The entire Brigade promoted its internal resources, investing more than 15,000 working days and 1.93 billion VND to build a standard, green, clean and beautiful barracks.

The cadres of the Brigade promote a good sense of responsibility, fulfill their assigned duties and tasks; every year, 100% of cadres complete their tasks, more than 90% complete their tasks well and excellently.

With its achievements, in 2024, Brigade 680 was honored to receive the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal from the President for its outstanding achievements in work, training, combat readiness, and unit building from 2019 to 2023; the Navy Command awarded the Emulation Flag to the Outstanding Unit in the Emulation Movement for Victory, period 2019-2024.
