Currently, the Gia Lai College Party Committee has 8 subordinate Party cells with 109 Party members. During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee has promoted the comprehensive leadership role, the vanguard and exemplary role of cadres and Party members; closely coordinated in directing the implementation of political tasks, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the unit's operations.
The school has paid close attention to and directed the work of communication, admissions counseling and career orientation, bringing positive results. The total number of students trained during the term reached 39,496, the average training scale was about 7,899 students/year. The rate of students ranked as good, excellent and excellent reached an average of 68.76%; the graduation rate reached 96.26%, of which 83.72% were ranked as good or higher.
During the term, the school achieved many remarkable results in professional competitions at all levels: 248 teachers were awarded the title of school-level vocationaleducation teacher, 7 teachers at the provincial level and 2 teachers at the national level. In addition, 6 devices won provincial prizes and 3 devices won national prizes. Coordination with businesses in training, internships and job placement was effectively implemented; the rate of students and university graduates with jobs reached about 80%.
The Party Committee also focuses on administrative reform, improving the quality of teaching and management; encouraging scientific research movements, writing experience initiatives; paying attention to testing and ensuring training quality.
In the work of Party building, the Party Committee focuses on discovering, nurturing and recruiting new Party members from among the excellent cadres, lecturers, students and pupils. Since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee has recruited 28 new Party members and officially transferred the Party membership to 30 comrades; no Party members have asked to leave the Party or been expelled. The work of managing Party members and maintaining contact with the Party Committee and the people in their place of residence has been carried out seriously and effectively.
Along with professional work, the School Party Committee pays special attention to social security work. During the term, the school participated in many fundraising activities and supported charity funds with a total amount of 466.3 million VND, contributing to spreading community responsibility and supporting students in difficult circumstances.
At the Congress, delegates discussed and comprehensively evaluated the results achieved in the past term, and at the same time proposed specific directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. Many presentations at the Congress focused on contents such as: preserving national cultural identity, developing party members, strengthening business cooperation, and applying digital transformation in teaching and vocational training.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich praised the important results that the school's Party Committee had achieved in the past term. At the same time, she requested the Party Committee to continue to promote its comprehensive leadership role, improve the quality of its staff and lecturers; focus on building the Party in terms of politics, ideology and ethics; well implement the grassroots democracy regulations, strengthen inspection, supervision, training and admission of new Party members.
He emphasized that the Party Committee needs to continue to lead mass organizations to operate effectively, build the School to develop in a high-quality direction, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of developing vocational education and the province's socio-economy in the new period.
