Ia Tul Commune Party Committee strives to increase the number of new party members admitted every year by 3%.

(GLO)- On August 13, the Ia Tul Commune Party Committee (Gia Lai Province) solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 180 delegates, representing 730 Party members in the entire Party Committee.

Attending the Congress were comrade Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Ia Tul commune was established on the basis of merging 4 communes east of Ba river: Ia Broai, Ia Tul, Chu Mo and Ia Kdam with a natural area of 58,751.2 ha, population of 19,606 people, ethnic minorities accounting for 98.01%. After the merger, the commune Party Committee has 32 grassroots Party organizations with 730 party members.

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 4 Commune Congresses for the 2020-2025 term, the socio -economy has achieved many important achievements, completing and exceeding most of the targets set out in the Resolution.

The economy has grown well, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction. The total local budget revenue reached over 10.4 billion VND, an increase of 46% compared to the assigned plan. The average income per capita has increased gradually over the years, reaching 37.65 million VND/year to date.

Since the beginning of the term, the commune has eliminated 256 temporary and dilapidated houses, provided 513 breeding cows and 126 goats to poor and near-poor households. Currently, the whole commune has 733 poor households, accounting for 16.76% and 728 near-poor households, accounting for 16.64%.

Attention has been paid to the work of developing new party members, with 106 party members admitted, achieving the target set out in the Resolution.

Based on the achieved results, in the 2025-2030 term, the Commune Party Committee sets a number of targets: Product value growth rate reaches 8.6%/year; average income per capita reaches 52 million VND/year; reducing the multidimensional poverty rate in the 2025-2030 period to 3.66%; the rate of rural households using hygienic water is 87%, of which 21% of households use clean water; the rate of new Party members admitted annually (compared to the total number of Party members at the beginning of the term) increases by 3% or more; The Commune Party Committee is annually classified as: Successfully completing tasks.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Ia Tul commune in the past term. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that in the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the commune needs to lead and direct the rapid stabilization of the organization and apparatus, improve the efficiency of government operations, and build solidarity and unity within the entire Party Committee. Immediately after the Congress, it is necessary to develop a specific action program and plan to successfully implement the goals of the Congress Resolution with the spirit of clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear products, specific results, clear time, and clear roadmap.

In addition, the Party Committee of the commune needs to strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party organization and political system, promote the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility of cadres and Party members. Continue to lead and direct the strict implementation of national defense and security tasks, do a good job of preventing and combating crimes and social evils, keep peace for the people, create a stable environment for sustainable socio-economic development.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Ia Tul Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 24 comrades. Comrade Rah Lan H'Dry was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
