Thien Loc Commune organizes National Security Protection Day and Cultural - Sports Festival

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, on August 14 and 15, the People's Committee and Steering Committee 138 of Thien Loc commune organized the National Day for National Security Protection and the Cultural - Sports Festival.

The festival is an opportunity for all people to review the glorious tradition of 80 years of fighting, building and growing of the People's Public Security force - an important and trustworthy armed force of the Party, State and people; at the same time affirming the meaning and importance of the National Day for National Security Protection - a widespread revolutionary movement, promoting the strength of the people in the cause of protecting security and order in the locality; encouraging, rewarding and honoring typical collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement for national security protection.

Over the years, local Party committees and authorities have always identified the work of building a mass movement to protect national security as a fundamental measure and a long-term task in protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety.

The movement of the entire people to protect national security in Thien Loc commune has achieved many positive results: The coordination between the police force and departments, branches and organizations is increasingly close. Many self-management models of security and order are effectively maintained, such as: "Self-management inter-family groups", "Safe residential areas in terms of security and order"... Thereby, propagating, raising awareness, mobilizing people to actively participate in preventing, detecting, denouncing and fighting all kinds of crimes, contributing to building safe villages, hamlets, agencies, businesses and schools.

The cultural and sports festival took place with many rich and exciting activities with the participation of officers and soldiers of the commune police and 14 villages in the commune: Volleyball competition, tug of war, sack jumping...

The festival contributes to improving the spiritual life, training the health of cadres, soldiers and people, strengthening solidarity, connecting the army and people, joining hands to build the homeland of Thien Loc to become more and more developed, peaceful and happy.

At the end of the festival, in the men's volleyball event: First prize went to Hau Duong village, Second prize went to Sap Mai village, and third prizes went to Dai Do village and Dong village. In the women's volleyball event: First prize went to Mach Lung village, Second prize went to Sap Mai village, and third prizes went to Cau Thang Long village and Dong village.

Sack jumping: First prize in Mach Lung village, second prize in Hau Duong village, third prize in Dong village and Bau village. Tug of war: First prize in Bau village, second prize in Mach Lung village, third prize in Doai village and Commune Police.

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Thien Loc commune commended 11 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement "For National Security" in 2025; awarded prizes to units with high achievements.
