On August 15, on many central streets of Hanoi , especially around Ba Dinh Square and parade streets, hundreds of green mobile toilets were installed synchronously, with identification signs "Free Toilets".

Hanoi installed and mobilized more than 1,000 toilets. Of which, the central area of Ba Dinh Square has 230 toilets, the route from the grandstand to the stage has 90 toilets, along the parade route has 75 toilets, and the fireworks display points.

The entire system was put into operation from August 15 to September 2, with staff on duty 24/7, ensuring water supply, waste removal and deodorization. Along with that, Hanoi also mobilized toilets from agencies, schools, hospitals, businesses, and cafes for customers to use for free.

In addition, about 800 trash cans with white plastic bags were installed at locations along the parade route.
It is expected that more than 6,000 young volunteers will coordinate to pick up trash and propagate people not to litter.
