For merged localities, the license plates will be the local license plates before the merger.

Vehicle registration certificates and license plates issued before July 1, 2025 will continue to be used. Organizations and individuals can choose to register their vehicles at the commune-level police station in the province or city where the vehicle owner resides or is headquartered.
