The whole province currently has nearly 2.8 million vehicle records that need to be reviewed, including more than 183,500 cars and 2.66 million motorbikes, with information collected and updated by the Commune-level Police before December 31, 2025. In addition, Dong Nai has more than 3.8 million vehicle records (including more than 379,000 cars and more than 3.42 million motorbikes) that must be digitized before March 30, 2026.
Initial results on the management of expired vehicles show that nearly 26,000 original expired vehicle records have been separated for separate management. Regarding data collection, the Commune Police have collected information on more than 132,800 cases. Regarding data cleaning, 97 vehicle registration points across the province have cleaned more than 160,000 cases. Regarding the digitization of records, more than 160,000 cases have been digitized.
The Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province is directing units to speed up progress, ensuring accuracy, objectivity and completeness in reviewing and supplementing vehicle registration data, linked to vehicle owner identification codes. Field comparison helps eliminate duplicate and incorrect data, contributing to improving management efficiency.
The provincial police recommend that people cooperate in providing accurate information; vehicle owners who have sold or transferred but not yet changed their name should proactively declare to avoid legal risks, ensure their rights and contribute to building an accurate and synchronous vehicle database.
