The Director of the Traffic Police Department has ordered the Traffic Police force nationwide to simultaneously inspect students who violate traffic order and safety and their families who hand over vehicles to unqualified drivers at the same time nationwide.

From 8am to 10am on November 4, the Traffic Police force of 30/34 localities (except for 4 localities with rain and floods, including: Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang did not implement) invited representatives of school Boards of Directors to participate in a general inspection of 2,219 parking lots (1,149 parking lots in schools, 1,070 parking lots around school gates).

As a result, the number of students who were not qualified to drive to school was 19,406 (6,474 parked in the school parking lot; 12,932 parked in the parking lot of people around the school). The number of cases using substandard helmets was 9,774 (2,941 parked in the school parking lot; 6,833 parked around the school). 24,407 parents were invited to report the violation and asked to sign a commitment not to give the vehicle to the students.

The Traffic Police force has requested 2,626 schools to comply with the commitment not to keep motorbikes for students who are not qualified to drive motorbikes; and requested 2,203 parking lots around school gates not to keep motorbikes for students who are not qualified to drive vehicles.
