Dong Nai plans to start construction of 18 more social housing projects from now until the first quarter of 2026.

(DN) - Departments, branches and localities in Dong Nai are focusing on speeding up the completion of investment, land and construction procedures to complete more than 4,200 social housing units (NƠXH) according to the target assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 28, 2025.

Along with that, implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee has requested the competent authorities to urgently complete legal documents, striving to start construction of about 18 new social housing projects by the end of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, equivalent to more than 15,100 apartments.

Dong Nai is a locality with great demand for social housing, especially in central wards and communes and with many industrial parks. In the period of 2021-2030, Dong Nai province (including the former Binh Phuoc province) was assigned by the Prime Minister to complete more than 66,700 social housing units, of which more than 4,200 units must be completed by 2025.

In August and September 2025, more than 10 social housing projects with a scale of more than 10,000 apartments will have groundbreaking ceremonies in the province. This will be a large-scale source of low-cost housing for the market in 2026 and 2027.
