Ending the situation of 'having a start date, no end date' in land clearance

According to the plan, in the coming time, Dong Nai province will deploy a series of key infrastructure projects connecting the region and Long Thanh International Airport (airport), including construction projects: Cat Lai bridge, Long Hung bridge, Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City, connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City, elevated road along National Highway 51, Provincial Road 2 (section 2), extension of Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line to the new administrative center of the province and Long Thanh Airport, provincial road projects 769, 773 and 770B.

To implement these projects, the Provincial People's Committee requires units and localities to prepare well for proposing investment forms and site clearance for projects. The competent agencies and localities are implementing procedures to prepare for project investment and site clearance for project construction.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha assessed: Recently, most of the transport infrastructure projects in the province have been behind schedule, the biggest reason being the slow site clearance. Therefore, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and localities are required to strengthen coordination and prepare human resources to carry out the site clearance work on schedule to serve the construction of the projects.

"For site clearance work, it is necessary to clearly define the completion deadline and the person directly responsible, to avoid the situation of "having a start date but no end date" as in the past" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized.

To ensure the progress of site clearance, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center must submit an implementation plan to the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, it must compile statistics and propose the construction of resettlement areas to arrange resettlement for the people.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha also assigned the Department of Construction to make a list of priority investment projects. On that basis, establish a critical path for the progress of investment preparation and project construction.
