List of 41 professors and associate professors from Ha Tinh to be recognized in 2025

(Baohatinh.vn) - The State Council of Professors has officially recognized the titles of professor and associate professor for 41 candidates from Ha Tinh in the 2025 review period.

Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Nghia Bang, Deputy Chief of Office of the State Council of Professors, said that Chairman of the State Council of Professors Nguyen Kim Son has just signed Decision No. 79/QD-HDGSNN dated November 19, 2025, recognizing 71 teachers as meeting the standards for the title of professor and 829 teachers as meeting the standards for the title of associate professor.

The list of recognized Professors and Associate Professors has no change compared to the results of the review at the 4th meeting of the State Council of Professors on November 2, 2025 with 900 candidates.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Huong is from Can Loc commune, Ha Tinh province.

Thus, all 41 candidates from Ha Tinh were recognized for the titles of professor and associate professor this time.

Specifically, the 7 professors include: teacher Ngo Dang Quang (born in 1964, working at the University of Transport); teacher Tran The Truyen (born in 1978, working at the University of Transport); teacher Nghiem Trung Dung (born in 1963, working at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology); teacher Dinh Tuan Hai (born in 1973, working at the Hanoi University of Architecture); teacher Nguyen Xuan Huy (born in 1977, working at the University of Transport); teacher Nguyen Tien Dung (born in 1975, working at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University); teacher Kieu Dinh Hung (born in 1963, working at the Hanoi Medical University).

The remaining 34 people were recognized with the title of associate professor.

In terms of age, the two youngest associate professors from Ha Tinh province recognized this time were both born in 1990 (35 years old), namely Mr. Tran Quoc Quan (born May 15, 1990, Associate Professor candidate, currently working at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) and Mr. Nguyen Viet Huong (born April 23, 1990, from Can Loc commune, Ha Tinh province, Associate Professor candidate, currently working at Phenikaa University).

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quoc Quan is currently Deputy Head of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials and Structures, Faculty of Construction and Transport Technology, University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

According to the Office of the State Council of Professors, this year the quality of candidates in 2025 is quite good, foreign language proficiency has improved a lot, and all candidates have guaranteed to have enough scientific research works published in international journals listed in ISI, Scopus or other prestigious journals.

This year, the list of qualified candidates is made public on the websites of higher education institutions and the State Council of Professors. This publicity helps increase transparency, creating conditions for society and the scientific community to participate in criticism and comments.

According to the assessment of Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, the 2025 recognition process was carried out seriously, fairly, objectively and aimed at improving quality.
