Guardiola will decide Grealish's future at the end of the season.

British media reported that Pep Guardiola was disappointed with Grealish's performance in the 2024/25 season and was ready to sell the player this summer.

Grealish has fallen out of favour under Guardiola this season. The 29-year-old has only started seven Premier League games this season.

When Manchester City unexpectedly lost 0-1 to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final on May 17, Grealish sat on the bench and was not used for a single minute.

The Times revealed that the England midfielder is likely to leave the Etihad Stadium in the summer transfer window. Neither Guardiola nor new sporting director Hugo Viana have been impressed with Grealish's performances at Manchester City over the past two years.

In an interview with British media earlier this week, Guardiola admitted Grealish was unhappy with his lack of playing time: “It’s not just Jack. In my dressing room, and I think in every dressing room in the world , there is no player who is happy not to play.”

The former Aston Villa star has two years left on his contract with Manchester City, and the Etihad club must sell the player before entering the final year of his contract.
