Investing nearly 4,930 billion VND to build the road connecting Thai Binh

Expected route of the Thai Binh - Hung Yen connecting road project

Thai Binh province has decided to invest in the project to build a road from Thai Binh city to Hung Ha district connecting with Hung Yen province, with a total estimated investment of about 4,928 billion VND, to enhance trade and connection with neighboring provinces and urban areas, industrial clusters and industrial parks in the area.

The project has a total length of about 24.8 km, passing through Thai Binh city, Vu Thu district, Dong Hung district and Hung Ha district, using 182.23 hectares of land area. The starting point of the project is at the intersection between the road to TBS Song Tra Industrial Park and National Highway 10 (S1 bypass), in Thai Binh city; the end point is at the beginning of the Luoc River overpass, in Cong Hoa commune, Hung Ha district.

The project's investment capital comes from the provincial budget and central budget support; project implementation period is from 2025 - 2028.

The completion of the project contributes to completing the route connecting Thai Binh with Hanoi Capital - the political and cultural center of the country; connecting Thai Binh province with neighboring provinces through Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital region; meeting the needs of inter-regional, inter-provincial, inter-regional transportation connecting urban areas, industrial clusters, and industrial parks in Thai Binh province.

The project will also gradually develop and complete the road traffic infrastructure system approved in the Thai Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030 and vision to 2050 according to Decision No. 1735/QD-TTg dated December 29, 2023 of the Prime Minister; contributing to promoting local socio-economic development, enhancing trade between provinces, ensuring national defense and security of the region...
