Promoting community communication activities in ethnic minority areas

(kontumtv.vn) – With the participation of local Party committees, authorities and socio-political organizations, community communication activities in Dak Ha district have had a positive impact on the implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Up to now, Dak Ha district has established and completed 20 community communication teams with the participation of over 200 members who are cadres, union members, and members of socio -political organizations. In the first 6 months of the year, community communication teams have organized direct communication in residential areas of ethnic minorities for over 9,000 participants. Thereby, effectively propagating and implementing the contents of the Campaign "Changing the thinking and working style of ethnic minorities, helping ethnic minorities to rise up and escape poverty sustainably"; propagating, disseminating, and educating about the law on marriage and family, eliminating inappropriate customs and practices, eliminating gender prejudices and stereotypes; educating to raise awareness about measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and prevent drowning for children... in accordance with the actual situation of the locality in order to raise awareness and law enforcement capacity of the people.

In addition, community communication activities also disseminate and guide the implementation of resolutions and socio-economic development programs for ethnic minority areas in the period of 2023 - 2025... Thereby, arousing and promoting people's self-awareness in participating in socio -economic development, building a new, civilized and progressive cultural life.
