Expedite the progress of APEC Conference project constructions.

On the morning of July 23, Mr. Ho Van Mung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province, chaired a meeting between the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

At the meeting, the members of the Provincial People's Committee approved the proposal from the Department of Finance regarding the establishment of working groups to direct the implementation of economic growth in An Giang province; and the proposal from the Department of Construction regarding seeking opinions from the Ministry of Construction on the partial adjustment of the general planning of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone until 2040.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Department of Finance to continue coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to review and resolve difficulties and obstacles, and accelerate the implementation of projects serving the APEC conference.

Regarding land management and construction order in Phu Quoc, we request that the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone People's Committee strengthen local management forces, prevent and strictly handle violations of land and construction regulations, and prevent the emergence of complex cases.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Justice, and the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone are closely reviewing legal regulations and accelerating the compensation and land clearance process for project works, ensuring compliance with the law and gaining the consensus of the people.

Comrade Ho Van Mung directed the Department of Finance to take the lead in coordinating with the Department of Construction and other relevant departments to implement a plan for handling unused office buildings in the former An Giang province, bringing them under management and arrangement according to regulations. Those unused office buildings will be handed over to the Land Fund Development Center for asset management.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment will soon submit the new land price list to the Provincial People's Council for approval in accordance with the Land Law. The Department of Justice will advise the Provincial People's Committee on the enforcement of administrative judgments in accordance with the law.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Finance, and the Provincial Inspectorate are requested to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a new plan to replace the previously issued plans of the former An Giang and Kien Giang provinces regarding the implementation of inspection, audit, and review conclusions…
