Speeding up the progress of APEC Conference project works

On the morning of July 23, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung chaired a meeting between the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial People's Committee approved the report of the Department of Finance on the establishment of working groups to direct the implementation of economic growth in An Giang province; the report of the Department of Construction on consulting the Ministry of Construction on the Local adjustment of the master plan of Phu Quoc Special Zone to 2040.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Department of Finance to continue coordinating with relevant departments and branches to review, remove difficulties and obstacles, and speed up the implementation of projects serving the APEC conference.

Regarding land management and construction order in Phu Quoc, it is recommended that the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone strengthen the local management force, prevent and strictly handle violations of land and construction, and prevent complicated incidents from arising.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Justice, and the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone strictly review legal regulations, speed up compensation and site clearance for project works to ensure compliance with legal regulations and create consensus among the people.

Comrade Ho Van Mung directed the Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Construction and related departments to implement a plan to handle unused headquarters in An Giang province (old) to put them under management and arrangement according to regulations. Unused headquarters will be handed over to the Land Fund Development Center for asset management.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall promptly submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the new land price list in accordance with the provisions of the Land Law. The Department of Justice shall advise the People's Committee on the enforcement of administrative judgments in accordance with the law.
