Speed up site clearance progress, ensure power on August 19

Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 234 on continuing to accelerate the completion of site clearance (GPMB) for the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project through Lao Cai province.

Specifically, after reviewing the progress report on the implementation of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project through Lao Cai province by the Provincial Party Committee and Official Dispatch No. 3445 dated August 13, 2025 of the Power Project Management Board 1 - Vietnam Electricity Group, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee to continue to seriously and resolutely implement the instructions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in the Conclusion Notice 62-TB/VPTU dated August 4, 2025 and Notice 68-TB/VPTU dated August 10, 2025 to ensure the completion time, inauguration of the project, and energization as planned on August 19.

Along with that, develop a plan and organize a summary and evaluation of the Project's site clearance work, reward individuals and related organizations with achievements in accelerating the progress of the Project's site clearance work (especially paying attention to exemplary households in compliance), and complete before August 19.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee presides over coordination with the Power Project Management Board 1 and the Party Committees of communes within the scope of the Project, agreeing on a plan to mobilize the maximum number of union members and youth to specifically cooperate with relevant forces to support people in cleaning up, cutting down trees, moving assets, and ensuring the handover of land along the entire route as requested by the Power Project Management Board 1 in Official Dispatch 3445/EVNPMB1-GPMB dated August 13, 2025, in which, special attention is paid to ensuring absolute safety for people and participating forces.

The Women's Union has strengthened its support and encouragement for construction units in many appropriate and creative ways, clearly demonstrating the proactive and creative role of women in particular and the high sense of responsibility of Lao Cai people in implementing the Project.

In addition to assigning tasks, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the Party Committees and People's Committees of the communes: Khanh Hoa , Tan Linh, Lam Thuong, Muong Lai, Luc Yen, Yen Thanh, Thac Ba, Cam Nhan, Xuan Quang, Thuong Ha, Phuc Khanh, Bao Yen, Xuan Hoa for their efforts to complete the project's site clearance work on schedule. At the same time, it requested that the localities where the project passes through continue to mobilize the maximum force of the commune to coordinate with the Youth Union, Women's Union and construction units to support the people in cleaning up, cutting down trees, and moving assets to ensure the completion time, inaugurating the project, and connecting electricity as planned on August 19, 2025.
