In 2025, the People's Court at two levels received 8,077 cases and resolved 7,757 cases, reaching a general rate of 96% compared to the same period in 2024. The number of cases received decreased by 105 cases and the number of cases resolved decreased by 66 cases, with a resolution rate of 0.4%.
Mediation and dialogue work is focused on. During the year, the two-level People's Court received 7,084 petitions, and the number of petitions requesting mediation and dialogue at the Court was 2,581, accounting for 36.4%.
To successfully complete the political tasks of the sector in 2026, the People's Courts at two provincial levels aim to synchronously deploy solutions to speed up progress and improve the quality of handling and adjudicating all types of cases; strive to achieve and exceed work targets according to the Resolution of the National Assembly.
The sector continues to strengthen close and effective coordination with prosecution agencies and relevant agencies and organizations in the process of resolving cases and incidents. At the same time, it promotes the settlement of complaints and denunciations; tightens discipline and order in the performance of public duties; innovates Party inspection and internal inspection work. The sector also focuses on improving the effectiveness of judicial administrative reform and promoting digital transformation in the People's Court system.
At the Conference, the units discussed and exchanged experiences in handling various types of cases, demonstrating their determination to successfully complete the tasks of the two-level People's Court in 2026.
