The Ngoc Lac town wastewater treatment plant project is part of the Ngoc Lac district urban infrastructure improvement sub-project with a total investment of nearly 30 billion VND, undertaken by Tan Thanh Joint Stock Company. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, site manager of Tan Thanh Joint Stock Company, said: “Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the unit mobilized vehicles and human resources to speed up the construction progress to ensure progress with the investor. Up to now, after 6 months of construction, the unit has completed the factory fence; completed 4/6 filter tanks and a number of other construction items, with the total estimated value of the project reaching nearly 50%; striving to complete the project ahead of schedule”.

Mr. Mai Thanh Dam, an officer of the Project Management Unit - Management Board of the Agricultural and Rural Development Construction Investment Project (A&RD) Thanh Hoa , in charge of the Sub-project of the Ngoc Lac Urban Infrastructure Improvement Project, Ngoc Lac District, said: To speed up the construction progress of the project to ensure quality and on schedule, the investor has directed the Ngoc Lac District Construction Investment Project Management Board to coordinate with the Management Board of the Provincial Agricultural and Rural Development Construction Investment Project and localities where the project passes through to urgently carry out site clearance compensation, supervise construction quality, and coordinate with the contractor to resolve difficulties and problems arising during the project construction process. In the past, despite having to carry out construction in the context of high prices of raw materials, gasoline and harsh weather, the contractor still accelerated the construction progress of the project. Thanks to many positive solutions and favorable weather, contractors have mobilized human and material resources to speed up the construction progress. Up to now, after 4 months of construction, 2 items have been completed, which are the Trang Bridge revetment and the Tang Bridge revetment. The implementation progress is estimated at 31% of the entire project.

The project to invest in the construction of works to improve urban infrastructure in Ngoc Lac district strives to be completed and put into use by the end of August 2026. When put into operation, the project will contribute to the development of urban infrastructure, the construction of the inner-city traffic system; enhance the ability to drain floods and floodwaters for Ngoc Lac urban area, ensure the safety of people's lives and property in landslide areas during the rainy and flood season; enhance management capacity, implement investment and strengthen capacity in urban management to adapt to climate change... in Ngoc Lac district.
