Proposed admission rate to grade 10 public schools in Ha Tinh

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, the number of 9th grade students in the 2024-2025 school year is 18,635, a decrease of 2,920 students compared to the previous school year.

Currently, the demand for students to study at public high schools is still very high. The teaching staff, facilities, and equipment of public high schools meet the requirements of teaching and learning, improving the qualityof education , especially implementing the 2018 General Education Program.

Ha Tinh proposed to enroll 72% of students in grade 10 of public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year.

Meanwhile, vocational training centers and vocational training facilities at high schools in Ha Tinh still face difficulties in terms of teachers and staff. Investment in facilities, equipment and ensuring the quantity and structure of teachers in centers and vocational training facilities requires time and a roadmap to meet the requirements.

On the other hand, through information on the admission rate to grade 10 public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year in provinces/cities in the North Central region, it is from 75 - 80% and the admission rate of some provinces and cities increased compared to the 2024-2025 school year.

At this time, schools are focusing on reviewing knowledge for 9th grade students.

Considering the content of the report of the Department of Education and Training and the consensus of the members of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a document requesting the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to consider and give opinions on the admission rate to grade 10 of public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year at 72%.

The entrance exam for grade 10 of Ha Tinh High School and Ha Tinh Specialized High School is scheduled to be held on June 3 and 4, with exam results announced before June 18, 2025.
