Awarding 75 prizes at Ha Tinh Youth Informatics Contest 2025

(Baohatinh.vn) - The Organizing Committee of the 2025 Ha Tinh Province Youth Informatics Contest awarded 5 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 18 third prizes and 40 consolation prizes to the contestants.

On the afternoon of May 22, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Science and Technology, Ha Tinh Newspaper, and Ha Tinh Informatics Association to organize the summary and award ceremony of the 28th Provincial Youth Informatics Competition in 2025.

The contest is an intellectual playground held annually with the aim of accompanying Ha Tinh youth on the path of exploring, learning, improving knowledge and skills; discovering young IT talents, promoting the IT learning movement, applying information technology, and digital transformation.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Viet Hai Dang delivered a speech summarizing the contest.

This year, the contest attracted 162 contestants from 12/12 districts, towns and cities to compete in 2 categories: skills competition and creative product competition.

Candidates compete in one of two categories: skills or creative products.

Skills test:

Table A: Use Scratch or Python programming language to solve elementary school math problems.

Table B: Use programming languages such as C/C++, Python... to program and score online with algorithms suitable for secondary school students.

Table C1, C2: Use programming languages such as C/C++, Python... to program and score online with algorithms suitable for high school students.

Creative product competition:

Candidates use existing tools (hardware, software) to build creative products for learning, entertainment and other practical needs.

Candidates take the test seriously.

According to the assessment, this year's exam was scientifically prepared, close to the candidates' level, highly classified, ensuring confidentiality and objectivity. The content, organization and rules of the contest were carried out in accordance with the Central plan and the provincial inter-sectoral plan. Students had time to thoroughly review and confidently participate in the contest.

Based on the judging results of the Jury, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 18 third prizes and 40 consolation prizes to the contestants.

The Organizing Committee also selected first prize winners from each group to participate in the regional round and the 31st National Youth Informatics Competition scheduled to take place at the end of June 2025 in Da Nang.

The Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 1 third prize to contestants participating in the creative product competition.

In the skills competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 first prizes to the contestants...
