Regarding the COVID-19 epidemic situation today , the Ministry of Health said that from 4:00 p.m. on June 6 to 4:00 p.m. on June 7, the whole country recorded 575 infections, a decrease compared to the previous day.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,616,702 infections, ranking 13th out of 231 countries and territories, while with the rate of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 120th out of 231 countries and territories (on average, there are 117,396 infections per 1 million people).
During the day, 97 more patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total to 10,639,075. The number of patients on oxygen is 22.
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections. The number of deaths ranks 26th out of 231 territories, the number of deaths per 1 million people ranks 141st out of 231 countries and territories in the world .
On June 6, 286 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were injected. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses injected was 266,442,769 doses, of which the number of doses injected for people aged 18 and over was 223,766,613 doses; the number of doses injected for children aged 12-17 was 23,965,655 doses; the number of doses injected for children aged 5-11 was 18,710,501 doses.
