Regarding the COVID-19 epidemic situation today , the Ministry of Health said that from 4:00 p.m. on July 6 to 4:00 p.m. on July 7, the whole country recorded 57 cases, equivalent to the number of cases the day before.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,620,947 infections, ranking 13th out of 231 countries and territories, while with the rate of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 120th out of 231 countries and territories (on average, there are 117,438 infections per 1 million people).

During the day, 15 more patients were announced to have recovered, bringing the total number of cured cases to 10,640,164. The number of patients using oxygen is 3, an increase of 1 case compared to the previous day.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections. The number of deaths ranks 26th out of 231 territories, the number of deaths per 1 million people ranks 141st out of 231 countries and territories in the world .

On July 6, 135 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were injected. Thus, the total number of doses of vaccine injected is 266,494,671 doses.
