On August 20, the Department of Training - Ministry of Public Security officially announced the benchmark scores of Police schools in 2024.
This year, the benchmark for female candidates for the Party Building and State Administration major at the People's Public Security Academy in the North is 25.52 points. Next is the Security major for female candidates in the North, Region 3, with a benchmark of 25.42 points.
The group of majors with the lowest benchmark is Security for women, in the South, region 8 has a benchmark of 16.0 points. Last year, the Party building and State administration major of the People's Public Security Academy had the highest benchmark of 24.94 for women; the police major of the People's Police Academy had a benchmark of 24.23 for women.
In 2024, the new enrollment target for regular university level public security students assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to schools is 2,150.

Admission scores of Police schools in 2023
In 2023, the benchmark scores of 8 Police schools ranged from 14.01 to 24.94. This is also the second year that the Police schools have organized the People's Police entrance exam, so the benchmark scores have decreased compared to previous years.
The highest standard score for the Party Building and State Administration major of the People's Public Security Academy is 24.94 points for female candidates. The same major for male candidates is 23.41 points. Meanwhile, the English Language major of the International Academy has 14.01 points for male candidates. This is the lowest score.
