Last year, the highest standard score based on the high school graduation exam score of the Academy on a 30-point scale was 27.43 points, for the Economic Law major. On a 40-point scale, the major with the highest standard score was Business Administration (CLC) with 33.33 points.
In 2025, the Academy will enroll 2,000 students for 11 training majors, 18 standard training programs, 5 high-quality programs taught in Vietnamese and 3 high-quality programs taught in English.
The Academy uses the following admission methods:
- Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Admission based on international competency certificate results: ACT, A-Level, SAT.
- Admission is based on the results of the Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment Test (DGNL).
- Admission is based on the results of the thinking assessment test (DGTD) of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
- Admission based on high school graduation exam results.
- Combined admission based on international English certificate results (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL,...) and high school graduation exam results (2 subjects) in the admission group.
- Combined admission based on international English certificate results (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL,...) and 12th grade high school academic results (2 subjects) in the admission group.
- Combined admission based on the results of the Provincial/City level excellent student awards (First, Second, Third) and high school academic results (2 subjects) in the admission group.
- Combined admission based on 2025 high school graduation exam scores (2 subjects) and high school study results (1 subject) in the admission group.
The threshold to ensure input quality, that is, the minimum score for candidates to be able to apply for admission to the school, is 19 points and 25.5 points, respectively applied to majors considered on a 30-point and 40-point scale.
The above scores are calculated based on the total scores of high school graduation exam subjects according to the admission combination, plus regional and subject priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Academy predicts that the admission score to the school will decrease by 1-3 points compared to 2024, especially for majors that consider combinations including Math or English.
