Benchmark scores for grade 10 admission in Bac Ninh in 2024

On the morning of June 19, the Departmentof Education and Training of Bac Ninh announced the admission scores for grade 10 of high school in 2024.

Accordingly, in the 2024-2025 school year, Thuan Thanh High School No. 1 has the highest admission score in the province with 35.70 points; followed by Han Thuyen High School - 34.30 points, Ly Thai To High School (Tu Son city) - 34.16 points, Tien Du High School No. 1 - 32.50 points, Que Vo High School No. 1 - 31.60 points... The lowest admission score is Luong Tai High School No. 2 with 19.66 points (2nd choice is 27.10 points).

For Bac Ninh Specialized High School, the admission scores for classes in 10 specialized subjects are as follows: Math 37.25 points, Physics 36.93 points, Chemistry 37.66 points, Biology 38.16 points, Information Technology 35.70 points, Literature 37.73 points, History 38.50 points, Geography 39.33 points, English 36.98 points, Chinese 36.08 points.

How to calculate entrance scores for non-specialized public high schools as follows:

Math and Literature scores are multiplied by a factor of 2; English scores are multiplied by a factor of 1. For Bac Ninh Specialized High School, the scores of the 3 common subjects (Math, Literature, English) with other high schools are multiplied by a factor of 1; specialized subject scores are multiplied by a factor of 2.

Candidates who pass the specialized exam will not be admitted to other public high schools; candidates who fail the specialized exam will have their scores from the 3 general exams used for objective admission to non-specialized public high schools in the order of their first, second, and third preferences as registered.

Candidates who fail to pass the public high school entrance exam, if they wish to continue studying at high school, can apply for admission to non-public high schools, continuing education centers, or vocational education - continuing education centers in the province.
