Bright spot of Party development among youth union members

During the 2020-2025 term, the Dong Lien Commune Youth Union (Thai Nguyen City) has implemented many solutions to discover, nurture, and create an environment for outstanding members to strive to join the Party. As a result, 19 outstanding members have been recommended for admission (out of a total of 23 members admitted to the entire Party Committee of the commune). This helps to supplement the Party's youthful vitality, contributing to building a successor team with qualities and capabilities in the local political system.

Dong Lien Commune Youth Union has 12 affiliated youth union branches, with 136 youth union members regularly participating in 8 residential youth union branches, 3 school youth union branches and 1 police youth union branch.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Secretary of the Dong Lien Commune Youth Union, said: We determined that to become a Party member, each Youth Union member needs to have an ideal to strive for and constantly study, practice and cultivate in practice. Therefore, the Commune Youth Union has increased the organization of discussions on Ho Chi Minh's ideology and revolutionary ethics to help members raise their awareness of the Party.

At the same time, the Commune Youth Union has implemented many volunteer activities, economic development models, new rural construction, creating playgrounds to attract union members to participate. On that basis, positive factors are discovered to nurture and introduce to the Party. Dong Lien Commune Youth Union also closely coordinates with Party cells where union members reside and work to find solutions to help outstanding masses who are young union members join the Party.

Ms. Huong cited Mr. Nguyen Van Viet, Dong Van hamlet - an example of a young union member who actively participated in collective movements and was trained and introduced to the Party by the Youth Union. In June 2021, Mr. Viet took on the position of Secretary of the Dong Van hamlet Youth Union.

With a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm, he innovated in organizing the activities of the Youth Union and created many youth volunteer movements, attracting a large number of members to participate. Thanks to that, from the initial 5 members, the Dong Van Youth Union has now grown to more than 30 members with regular activities.

Under the leadership of Mr. Viet, Dong Van, which used to be a dimly active youth union, has become an excellent youth union, leading the emulation movement of Dong Lien Commune Youth Union. Mr. Viet's positive contributions have been recognized with many Certificates of Merit from various levels in the patriotic emulation movement and youth union activities in the locality. More honorably, in October 2022, Mr. Viet was admitted to the Party. Since then, he has always been exemplary, responsible and devoted, spreading the spirit of enthusiasm and dedication of youth to local youth union members.

Ms. Dang Thi Lan, a teacher at Dong Lien Kindergarten (Thai Nguyen City), is a young party member, a model youth union member, and responsible in her work.

Not only Mr. Viet, after being admitted to the Party, the young Party members who are Youth Union members of Dong Lien commune have basically promoted their pioneering and exemplary roles and always taken the lead in all local movements. A typical example is Ms. Dang Thi Lan, a teacher at Dong Lien Kindergarten. Not only completing her professional work well, Ms. Lan also actively participated in the work of the Youth Union, giving advice to the commune Youth Union on many meaningful activities in the locality.

Ms. Dao Thi Nhu Quynh, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of Dong Lien Kindergarten commented: Ms. Lan is a young, responsible and creative party member, always at the forefront of innovating teaching methods and mass movements of the school; actively transforming digitally, supporting the school's teachers to conduct effective lessons applying new technology. After being admitted to the Party, she has been even more active in learning and researching to improve the quality of education at the school.

With the achieved results, in the coming time, Dong Lien Commune Youth Union will continue to promote the work of developing the Party among young people. In particular, it will promote the role of the Youth Union in discovering and nurturing young people through many exciting movements attracting union members to participate. At the same time, it will actively commend and reward exemplary union members with outstanding achievements, creating a spread and motivation for other young people to strive to stand in the ranks of the Party.
