EVNCPC leaders proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province allow two power companies to jointly manage and operate the area, with a total power capacity connected to the medium, low voltage and 110kV grid of Khanh Hoa province after the merger of about 2,185MW; in which Ninh Thuan Power Company was renamed Khanh Hoa Power Company.
Mr. Ngo Tan Cu also requested Khanh Hoa province to consider submitting to competent authorities to adjust and update the plan for developing power sources and grids under the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030 with a vision to 2050; consider creating conditions to remove obstacles in some procedures and documents during the implementation of the power project.
EVNCPC commits to ensuring safe, stable and continuous power supply; investing effectively, improving reliability, reducing power loss, applying digital technology in operation management; transparency, compliance with the law in investment, finance, grid operation and customer service; accompanying localities to promote social security and community-oriented activities.
Concluding the meeting, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh agreed that after the merger, in addition to Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company, there will be Khanh Hoa Power Company (former Ninh Thuan Power Company). For some projects not yet included in the planning, he requested that they be implemented carefully, accurately and in compliance with regulations.
In the process of completing the provincial planning, the electricity planning will be updated and integrated. After the province's merger, the demand for energy is very large, so Khanh Hoa province recommends that EVNCPC and related units need to calculate investment plans to ensure sources from now until 2030.
