Recently, Asher, a 3D artist at Front Page Tech , shared a render of the iPhone 17 Pro , which is said to be the final design of the next high-end iPhone model. If accurate, this could be the clearest look at the iPhone 17 Pro line before its launch.

This render is based on increasingly consistent reports that Apple is adopting a rectangular camera block design right at the top of the back of the new iPhone Pro, similar to the Google Pixel 9 Pro.

Accordingly, the iPhone 17 Pro camera bar will be much larger than previous concepts. However, the camera lenses still retain the triangular arrangement and are located on the left side of the bar, while the LED flash, microphone and LiDAR scanner are arranged vertically on the right side.

According to source Jon Prosser , the iPhone 17 Pro will have a two-tone finish, where the camera bar is darker than the rest of the back panel.

However, some questions remain about the authenticity of this concept.

First, we can mention the location of the LiDAR sensor and flash. In previous generations, the LiDAR sensor and flash were often placed near the camera to optimize scanning and taking pictures in low light conditions. Meanwhile, with the new camera bar design, it is unclear whether this is a functional change or simply an aesthetic move by Apple.

Additionally, this concept design also received mixed reviews from Bloomberg . Bloomberg 's Mark Gurman believes that Front Page Tech 's renderings may be based on fake CAD drawings.

That said, the large camera bar design has been mentioned by multiple other sources, including Chinese leakers who are said to have connections to Apple's supply chain.

Will other iPhone 17 models use a similar design?

Based on how Apple maintains consistency in design, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will likely have a similar camera bar as well.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Air, which replaces the Plus model in the upcoming lineup, is expected to adopt a narrower camera bar, housing a single lens on the left and a microphone and LED flash arranged horizontally on the right.

There are currently no confirmed reports on whether the standard iPhone 17 will adopt a similar camera bar design for the camera bump.

Brilliant new features for iPhone 17 Pro

According to leaked news, the iPhone 17 Pro models launched this year will use an aluminum frame, instead of a titanium frame like the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro, or stainless steel like models from iPhone X to iPhone 14 Pro. The frame is also likely to use a combination of aluminum and titanium.

The A19 Pro chip and Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip, along with 12GB of RAM, are considered powerful upgrades for the new iPhone. Apple's next-generation A19 Pro chip, manufactured using TSMC's third-generation 3nm process. As usual, the new chip will bring improvements in performance and energy efficiency compared to current iPhone models. Leaks suggest that at least one iPhone 17 model will be equipped with an Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip, instead of one supplied by Broadcom. While 12GB of RAM is likely to be available only on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

In addition, the highest-end iPhone 17 Pro Max model is also rumored to have a significantly more compact Dynamic Island, thanks to Apple's application of metalens technology to the Face ID system.

The new iPhone series will be launched in September 2025, according to Apple's annual tradition. The 2025 iPhone models are expected to include: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air.

Ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air revealed in new video YouTube channel Front Page Tech has just revealed the design of the iPhone 17 Air, a device that has appeared in many recent rumors and is expected to launch later this year.
