Colonel Luong Van Nhan, Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Head of the Tactics Department, Member of the Exercise Steering Committee: Instructor capacity - the decisive factor in the quality of the exercise

Colonel Luong Van Nhan.

The new point of this year's exercise is to improve the ability to handle rapidly changing situations. We require students to analyze, evaluate and make decisions in a short time, close to the pace of modern combat.

We assess that the learners have a firm grasp of knowledge and theoretical principles, and have applied them flexibly and creatively to specific conditions to conduct exercises close to combat practice. The commanding capacity, methods, and working style of the learners in the exercise positions are relatively good, and the unit commanders have done a good job of preparing and practicing combat missions, especially in the conditions of prolonged cold and rainy weather, which significantly affects the health and activities of the troops.

It must be affirmed that this year's final round tactical exercise was held in more realistic conditions, with higher requirements, and more complex and fast-moving situations. This is an opportunity for us, the staff and lecturers, to evaluate the training results, from content to method.

Fire and destroy the target.
Practice capturing open doors.

The exercise helped instructors gain valuable experience in enhancing the trainees' commanding skills. During the exercise, there were situations that were different from what was expected, requiring the trainees to calmly assess and flexibly handle the situation. These psychological manifestations and commanding styles were an important basis for instructors to adjust the training content.

At the same time, the coordination between faculties, teachers and agencies in the School plays a very important role. Through the exercise, we realized that when there is regular exchange and coordination, and agreement on intentions, content and organization, the exercise process will be more rhythmic and the assessment of students' results will be more objective and accurate.

Lieutenant Colonel Luu Van Dung, lecturer of Infantry Company Tactics, Faculty of Tactics, director of Platoon 3, Assault 2: Follow students closely to handle situations

My task was to direct Platoon 3 to carry out raid mission 2 of the infantry company project to attack the enemy defending the area of high point 53.7, and at the same time direct the students to carry out exercises in combat practice to improve the platoon leader's situation handling and combat command skills.

Lieutenant Colonel Luu Van Dung.

I found that students have a very good sense of responsibility, creatively and flexibly applying the theoretical principles they have learned to organizing, preparing and commanding combat practice units.

The students demonstrated their level and ability to command and handle situations, conduct Party work, political work and logistics and technical work for their platoon in combat practice.

We also see that, in addition to organizational and leadership skills, the spirit, responsibility and health of this year's students are very good.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Lap, Political Commissar of Battalion 7: Strictly manage students, ensure absolute safety

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Lap (far left) with students before going to the training ground.

We appreciate the students' sense of organization and discipline. Although the weather was unfavorable and some students were not in good health, they were very determined to complete their tasks well.

Through the drill, we realized that no matter how difficult or arduous the task is, if we have done all the preparation work well, especially the education work, thoroughly grasping the task, arousing and promoting the spirit of solidarity, community, and responsibility in the group, all difficulties and hardships will be overcome.

Second, for the Party Committee, battalion commanders and cadres in the unit, it is necessary to always closely follow the activities of the troops, to promptly detect the weak and missing content of the students, and then coordinate with supporting agencies and departments to guide and help students overcome the problems.

Sergeant Nguyen Huu Quan, student of Platoon 4, Company 20, Battalion 7: The final exercise helps students mature in military thinking and working style.

Sergeant Nguyen Huu Quan.

Participating in this comprehensive tactical exercise, for me as well as the other final year students, is an important milestone. This is an opportunity for us to apply the knowledge and skills we have learned throughout the training process into practical command, staff and combat coordination activities. Each content and each task in the exercise requires courage, confidence, flexible handling of situations and demonstration of collective solidarity.

The results of this exercise will be our luggage when we graduate, ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Sergeant Luu Anh Tuan, student of Platoon 4, Company 29, Battalion 10: The exercise has strengthened my faith and love for the military environment.

Sergeant Luu Anh Tuan (far left), student of Platoon 4, Company 29, Battalion 10.

Through the tactical exercise of the final round of the course, I learned and gained many important experiences in command and coordination of operations. First of all, I understood more clearly the role of the commander in grasping the situation, organizing timely and accurate decisions, and implementing plans in accordance with practical conditions.

I realize that coordination between units is crucial to the outcome of operations. Information exchange must be continuous and smooth; units must clearly understand their own tasks and those of other units to coordinate closely and smoothly.

Through this exercise, I further understood the content that the lecturers had imparted: The commander must be calm, scientific, and decisive; the unit must be united, unified, and closely coordinated to be able to complete the task well in any conditions and circumstances.

The drill has strengthened my faith, love for the military environment and a clear sense of responsibility as a future officer. I feel more confident, more mature and ready to enter the practical environment at the units, striving to excellently complete all assigned tasks.

School leaders and commanders gave gifts and encouraged the forces participating in the exercise.
