Although newly established, the youth of the 34th Corps inherit the glorious tradition of the 3rd Corps - Tay Nguyen Corps and the 4th Corps - Cuu Long heroic Corps. This is the source and foundation for the youth organizations to promote political and ideological education, build political capacity, foster revolutionary ideals, beliefs, and aspirations to contribute to cadres and young union members.

Political activities, movements, programs, and creative models in political and ideological education such as: "Youth of the 34th Corps - Loyal faith in the Party", "Youth branch speaks good words, does good deeds", "Youth branch without cigarette smoke, no discipline violations", "Youth branch of artisans and soldiers", "Hobby groups"... are widely and substantially deployed by youth organizations, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period.

Thereby, educating the vast majority of cadres and young union members in the Corps to have steadfast and firm political will, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; living with ideals and aspirations, being proactive, taking the lead in performing training tasks, being ready to fight, building units, preventing and fighting natural disasters, rescuing, helping people build new rural areas, and sustainably reducing poverty.

Identifying the Youth Union as the support for the Youth Union, building the Youth Union is building the Party one step ahead, in recent times, the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Corps Command, the Party committees, commanders, and political agencies at all levels have regularly consolidated, improved, and taken care of building a strong Youth Union in terms of politics, ideology, and organization. At the same time, creating conditions for the Youth Union to promote its intelligence, health, and enthusiasm, to complete and excellently complete its tasks, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" agency and unit. In less than a year since its establishment, the entire Corps has organized 1,145 outstanding Youth Union members to attend Party awareness classes and introduced 419 comrades to join the Party.

The main unit's characteristic is that the proportion of young union members is the majority, and they are the main, direct, and pioneering force in carrying out all tasks at the grassroots unit. Therefore, the youth movement of the Corps in recent times has always been focused on innovation in both content, form, and method of operation by Party committees, commanders, political agencies, and union organizations. Many movements, programs, and models have been participated by a large number of cadres and young union members, bringing about practical results. Notably, the "Young Creativity" movement has hundreds of valuable initiatives and improvements that have been widely applied, of which the Corps has 2 initiatives winning third prizes and 2 initiatives winning consolation prizes at the 25th Army Creative Youth Award. With the model "Saving on spending, for tomorrow's career", the Corps' Youth Union has saved more than 22.3 billion VND, helping thousands of Youth Union members after completing their military service have capital to learn a trade, start a business, and build a family life.

Along with that, the model "Youth Garden" and the Movement "Building a regular, bright, green, clean, and beautiful barracks" were widely launched throughout the Corps, renovating and repairing 268 youth works, 46 flower bridges, planting 5,600 new trees, 5,156 flower pots, with a total value of more than 1.8 billion VND. The movement "Digital Education for the People" has popularized artificial intelligence (AI) for 100% of cadres and young union members. The movements and models: "Youth study day, study hour", "3-explosive training group", "Exemplary, regular training ground", "Model classroom", "Training ground band", "Ideological tips", "Political sports festival"... have contributed to improving the training quality and combat readiness of the Corps.

Stationed in a strategic area, the lives of the people, especially ethnic minorities, are still difficult. In recent times, the youth of the 34th Army Corps have launched many movements and programs to volunteer for the community. The Corps' youth mobilized 21,417 working days to help people build new houses and repair 207 temporary and dilapidated houses; organized 236 "Volunteer Saturdays" and "Green Sundays", attracting 19,691 cadres and youth union members to participate. The "Spring of Solidarity - Tet with Military-Civilian Love" program of the Corps' youth presented 556 gifts and 2,700 kg of rice to poor and near-poor households in the area. The model "White shirts of love accompany you to school" has donated 2,500 books and 500 sets of clothes to poor students and students from ethnic minorities... contributing with local Party committees, authorities and armed forces to build a solid "people's hearts" position.

It can be affirmed that the vanguard and creative role of the Youth Union has a direct impact on the overall quality and fighting strength of agencies and units. Therefore, in the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the 34th Corps determined to continue to strengthen leadership, direction, care and attention so that the youth of the Corps can promote tradition, strive to compete, practice virtue, train talent, and take the lead in building the 34th Corps to be revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new era - the era of national development.
