An anonymous account took photos of Ngan Hoa posted on her personal Facebook account, claiming that even though she owns a spacious house, an Audi, expensive pets, and frequently travels abroad, calling for donations for medical treatment is unreasonable.

The sarcastic post attracted hundreds of negative comments.

The representative informed VietNamNet that actress Ngan Hoa is in an unstable state and cannot share much, but can only confirm that the rumors online are not true. "Hoa is renting a house and does not have a car. Those assets are 100% not hers," this person said.

As previously reported by reporters, in May 2023, actress Ngan Hoa was diagnosed with stage 3 chronic kidney failure, anemia and hepatitis by doctors at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City).

Last February, she went to Cho Ray Hospital (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) for a check-up and was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic kidney failure.

Currently, Ngan Hoa maintains taking medication every day and undergoing dialysis twice a day, but her results are not positive and she will have difficulty holding on for long. The doctor recommends that she undergo a kidney transplant. However, the huge cost has left the actress and her family at a dead end.

After the press reported the news, director Tran Thanh and many artists joined hands to support and call for donations to help Ngan Hoa. A day later, the actress announced that she would close her bank account, stop receiving donations, and thank the community for their support.
